Olga is reading a medical journal while her friends are playing board games. Suddenly she jumps up from her seat and tells them about an article in a magazine where it is said that the Gemoleaved tree has many, many fans, despite the fact that its leaves taste terrible. If you eat only a few leaves, then there is an excess, and you start to want more and more of them. Olga suggests banning the Gemoleaved tree, and her friends, without looking up from the games, agree. Returning home, Dokko becomes interested in a Gemoleaved tree and finds in Barry's atlas that it grows in these places in a swampy area.

The next day, Dokko and Barry go to the swamp and look for a Gemoleaved tree. They find him, but it turns out that Krash and Chiko have already cut him down and are trying to carry him away. Dokko picks one leaf and tastes it, but it turns out to be quite bitter. Barry suggests that the leaves need to be cooked.

Barry, Krash and Chiko throw the leaves into the pot and cook them into a green, foul-smelling mush. Dokko tries it and immediately rushes to the well to drink water. At night, Barry hears slurping and muttering outside the window. He leaves the house and sees Dokko furiously chewing Gemoleaved porridge. Dokko notes that the leaves are really addictive, and even though their taste is terrible, he eats them much easier now.
