The amazing adventures of Zenkaigers now coming to a comic bookstore near you!
Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger!
To find Professor Mitsuko, who escaped the Tozitend, we visited other parallel worlds — let's go!
Although we couldn't find her last time, we'll keep on searching while defending our own world!

Manga Wald makes his grand appearance on Earth, turning anybody he can see into manga characters. Juran and Magine unfortunately find themselves in the pages of his manga, unable to return if they are defeated within the pages. The rest of the team scramble to release everyone before it's too late, while the manga-loving Zocks resolves to create a fun ending of his own. The battle between the real world and the manga world starts here!

Tropes

  • Call-Back: One of the worlds where Kaito and Gaon search for Mitsuko is the recently-liberated Vacancestopia.
  • Jerkass Ball: In a bit of an unexpected move from them, Vroon and Flint mischievously threaten to expose the manga-fied Juran and Magine to direct flame and rip them apart. Also, at the end of the episode, Vroon refuses to return Zocks's treasured manga even when Yatsuda sternly demands to do so.
  • Medium Blending: The episode constantly switches between drawn manga pages and live-action set-pieces, especially during the fight scenes.
  • Serious Business: Zocks doesn't take it lightly when Manga Wald traps everyone in his manga, viewing it as an abhorrent perversion of what manga should be.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: The main plot revolves around the team trying to take down Manga Wald without accidentally destroying the people in the manga. The secondary plot revolves around the Tozitend (mostly Ijirude) dealing with the consequences of Mitsuko's escape, ominously ending with Ijirude planning something far more sinister.
