At Daybreak Town, Jin tells Horobi that he wants a Progrise Key, maybe to transform into a Kamen Rider like Horobi. Horobi refuses him and tells his underling to pursue Magias and Zetsumerise Keys instead, to resurrect the Ark.

Meanwhile, Aruto and Izu are on their way delivering a new specialized Humagear to Choichiro Izumi, a very successful mangaka with over 100 million volumes sold. They arrive in the mangaka's huge mansion and Aruto instantly gushing to the mangaka about how he loved his manga. But Izumi coldly tells him to activate the new Humagear. Izumi explains that he now let his Humagear assistants to do most of his manga works as they cannot feel tired, as he lounges lazily. A Humagear, Forest Brush G-Pen tries to argue, but Izumi orders him to buy supplies instead. Aruto tries to ask why doesn't Izumi works manually, when a Humagear collapsed. Izumi angrily chastises him, saying that the batteries inside are faulty and he asks Aruto to provides a new substitute.

Dejected, Aruto and Izu left Izumi's mansion. Aruto greets the returning G-Pen, but suddenly Jin announces his arrival. Jin transforms G-Pen to Vicarya Magia and Aruto transforms into Rising Hopper form. Vicarya's head drill is too tough however, and Izu throws Aruto the Biting Shark Progrise Key, but it got tossed aside. An elated Jin tries to grab the discarded Key, but Aruto is faster. He transforms into Biting Shark and tries to break Vicarya's drill but it it still to tough.

Then, A.I.M.S arrives and Fuwa transforms to his Shooting Wolf form, but his bullets cannot wound Vicarya too. A frustrated Yua throws the Attache Shotgun to Fuwa, and he successfully wound the Magia with a shotgun blast, but he's tossed aside by recoil from the weapon. The wounded Vicarya then runs away.

Back in HQ, Jun Fukuzoe chastises Aruto because Izumi files a complain about the lateness of substitute Humagears he ordered. The vice president states that Izumi is a very important client to Hiden and orders the CEO to instantly fulfills Izumi's request. Once he's alone with Izu, Aruto says that he's disappointed that Izumi is no longer having passion about creating manga. Izu is confused about this "passion" however, and she brings a dictionary app to seek its meaning. As "passion" also means burning spirit, Aruto remembers that Fuwa's shotgun blast damages Vicarya's drill with heat and asks Izu about a Progrise Key to countermeasure it.

The next day, Aruto arrives in Izumi's mansion with Jun Fukuzoe's assistant. They ask forgiveness because the delay of his orders, as Aruto asks why Izumi doesn't work manually again and that he's lost his passion of drawing manga. Then, Izu arrives with the news that she cancelled Izumi's orders on her own accord!

Back when she's producing Aruto's requested Progrise Key, Izu consults one of her memory files about "passion". In there, a projection of Korenosuke Hiden appears and tells her that Humagears' are not created to make humanity lazy, but to keep their spirit and passion alive as they're gonna be competing with robots. As Izumi thinks about that, he sees a G-Pen that he first use to work... when Vicarya Magia arrives to attack. Izumi desperately tries to protect his first G-pen, and seeing that, Aruto happily says that the mangaka still has passion. Aruto transforms into Flying Falcon and takes Vicarya outside the mansion.

As Aruto fights Vicarya, Fuwa in his Punching Kong arrives with Yua to assist. Fuwa shots the Magia with Attache Shotgun, and Punching Kong's bulk lets him withstand the weapon's recoil. This time, Izu gives Aruto the Flaming Tiger Progrise Key and Aruto transforms into said form, burning himself accidentally in process and making Fuwa laughs. As Aruto makes short work of Vicarya Magia, Izumi is struck with inspiration...

The next day, Izumi reveals that he now working again manually on his manga, with only 1 Humagear assistant to do background work. He also reveals a new character of his manga, that is inspired by Vulcan's Punching Kong form, to Aruto's disappointment.

Back in Daybreak Town, Jin whines about Horobi's prohibition to seek Progrise Keys and asks about his position. Horobi states that Jin is very important to him... as his son.

  • Based on a True Story: In-Universe example. Choichiro Ishizumi was inspired to draw manga himself again thanks to Aruto, and did a quick sketch of Zero-One and Vulcan's fight against the Vicarya Magia that he witnessed as material for his manga. Subverted, however, as the new character he introduced from the incident was instead based on Vulcan.
  • Broken Pedestal: Aruto finds out that not only does Choichiro no longer draw his own manga, but he mistreats his overworked HumaGears, seeing them as just tools.
  • Evil Plan: MetsubouJinrai.net wanted to use the ark to make all HumaGear go berserk at once.
  • Foreshadowing:
    • Remember the talent manager who ordered a HumaGear in Hiden's website based on a young woman on the cold opening? Later we see a HumaGear seiyuu based on that woman in the studio along with the talent manager and Choichiro. And the next episode preview reveals that she was the man's "reborn" daughter.
  • How Do I Shot Web?: Aruto couldn't quite grasp Flaming Tiger at first, nearly burning himself.
  • Long Runner" Perfuman Sword has been coming out for at least 73 volumes.
  • Like a Son to Me: When Jin asked if he was Horobi's assistant, Horobi said he sees Jin as his son instead. He means that quite literally.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When G-Pen Morifude sees a HumaGear that shut down due to overwork and Choichiro beating him senseless, he stood up in retaliation. Choichiro barks at him for stopping his work and orders him to get out for groceries if he wants a break, and he silently complies. This made him prey to Jin, however.
  • Show Within a Show: Perfuman Sword, which kind of looks like Naruto with furries.
