Touma struggles to find a way to save Yuki after being turned into a Megiddo, and can only protect her from Yuri who tries to vanquish her! Touma asks Yuri about how he became a sword in the legendary battle centuries ago, and proceeds to ask for his resolution, for if they don't move quickly, Yuki will become a complete Megiddo! Rintaro and Daishinji appear before Touma, who is impatiently searching for an answer! The two came to talk, but a Megiddo suddenly appears before them as Rintaro immediately transforms and tries to defeat the Megiddo! At the same time, Touma also transforms into Saber...!
Episode Tropes:
- Batman Gambit: Touma's plan to save Yuki was to just let the Alter Ride Book complete itself and be ejected from the Yeti Megid's body, to make use of that moment to destroy it and restore her back to normal.
- Poor Communication Kills:
- Tying with "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot. Had Yuri told Touma from the get go that he could return a recently transformed Megid back into a human, they could have saved themselves a lot of trouble and misunderstanding.
- Rintaro was almost willing to listen to Touma... until Touma started protecting the Yeti Megid, trying to convince the former that the Megid is a transformed human. Rintaro outright refuses to believe this and assumed Touma has now sided with the Megid.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Yuri delivers one to Daishinji during their confrontation.
- Stating the Simple Solution: After Touma's successful Batman Gambit, Yuri reveals he's capable of expelling humans out from their transformed Megid state by simply just defeating them all along, but Touma prevented him from doing so earlier, on the Wrong Assumption that he was going for a Mercy Kill.
