"So, Daichi Isuzu wasn't the Desastar."
Neon: We all thought he was, and voted for him. But as it turned out, we thought wrong...
"The treacherous Desastar still roams among the four of you."
Neon: I admit, that threw us off a little.
However, it's even more vital now that we find out who the Desastar really is.

Daichi was voted out of the game, only for it to be revealed that he was, in fact, not the traitor. This brings the remaining Riders back to square one, with the time remaining to unmask the Desastar slowly running out.

Meanwhile, the third round commences, the name of the game being "Time Bomb"; a bomb has been planted somewhere in the city, and the Riders' objective is to find and defuse it by sunset. During their search, Geats and the others discover that the Jyamato are in possession of bombs that take the form of various fruits.

Upon learning of this, Keiwa's anxiety starts to rise...!

Tropes

  • Bait-and-Switch: Keiwa receives a call from a distressed Sara, who is shown holding a knife... only for it to be revealed that she's just utterly frustrated at being unable to cut a particularly-tough pineapple. And then this gets subverted with the reveal that the "pineapple" is actually a bomb.
  • Body Horror: The wound on Michinaga's left hand after using the Jyamato buckle in the earlier episodes is either rotting black with green infected veins or growing tree bark-like lesions with roots. The way he is gripping his left arm after the fight with Ace implies it's spreading.
  • Bomb Disposal: The pineapple bomb Sara has eventually grows two wires and entangles her. The Riders manage to defuse it by tracking down the Jyamato that carries the pineapple bomb and cut the color wire it uses.
  • Delayed Reaction: After Keiwa sees Ace regain his paired Magnum Buckle, the two briefly look at a rolling "apple" before it explodes in front of them. Only Keiwa is affected.
  • Exact Words: When Beroba enters Ziin's sponsor room, he points his gun at her and tells her to get out, seeing as Jyamato sponsors aren't allowed in Rider sponsor rooms. Beroba points out that she is a Rider sponsor, pointing to Michinaga as her chosen.
  • Foreshadowing: After Ace and Keiwa are knocked over by an apple bomb from behind, Ace wonders who threw it since they already defeated the Jyamato in the area, with the scene immediately cutting to Lopo. Come the end of the episode, it's revealed that Sae is the Desastar.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: While mostly shown out of frame, Ziin's "gun" resembles a Raise Buckle, suggesting it may be a power-up put to use by a Rider at some point in the future.
  • Internal Reveal: Kousei reveals the DGP to Irumi and that Neon is a participant. Irumi does not take it well, immediately calling Neon and imploring her to withdraw.
  • Loophole Abuse: Beroba attempts to join the ranks of DGP Kamen Rider Sponsors despite being a well-known Jyamato Sponsor, however despite everyone's qualms she does have a proper Kamen Rider to support from her side, Buffa, and she intends on formally re-entering him into the current season's run.
  • Oh, Crap!: Keiwa has this reaction when he realizes that the bombs the Jyamato are deploying match the details of the suspicious pineapple Sara got earlier that day. By the time the Riders get to the Sakurai residence, Sara's already entangled by the bomb wires.
  • Pet the Dog: Ace is genuinely worried about Michinaga after their fight and seems troubled by the lengths the latter will go to. He still talks in a patronizing way, though, just more like a disappointed parent and less like a Smug Super.
  • Power at a Price: Turns out Michinaga using the Jyamato Buckle is making him slowly lose his humanity.
  • Product Placement: During the conversation between Sae and Neon, bottles of Pocari Sweat and packs of CalorieMate can be seen.
  • The Reveal: Sae is the Desastar from how she holds a Desastar mission card at the end.
  • Skewed Priorities: Sara is so starstruck when seeing Ace and Neon that she completely forgets what situation she is in and even apologizes for the messy apartment as if they were unexpected guests.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Even though Michinaga obtained the traditional resurrected Rider Next Tier Power-Up in the form of the Jyamato Buckle enhanced Buffa, he was soundly defeated by Ace due to his broken ID Core and the Jyamato Buckle still being incompatible with him causing Michinaga to writhe in pain every now in then in the middle of a fight.
