Mitsuzane seems to be hallucinating, claiming he can see Takatora even though he knows he defeated him. Elsewhere, Ryoma returns to Zawame City, and Kouta believes he may now be an ally against Mitsuzane and the Over Lords.
- Call-Back: Back in #28 Kaito told Mitsuzane to run away with his tail between his legs. Ten episodes later Mitsuzane repeats the exact same lines to Kaito. This actually was mentioned in episode 5, when Kaito asked Micchy if Kouta ran with his tail between his legs during his fight with him.
- Mythology Gag: This episode contains a plot-important scene which parallels one in Kamen Rider OOO: The female lead (Hina/Mai) talks to The Hero (Eiji/Kouta), pointing out that all he ever seems concerned with is helping other people and encouraging him to find a desire for himself.
