Stumpy and Quack Quack get addicted to carrots, which have the same effects on their bodies as tobacco would.
"Let's Play Carrot and Co." contains the following tropes:
- Addiction Displacement: Parodied; Mr. Cat says he curbed his addiction to carrots by developing an addiction to tormenting Quack Quack. He tries to justify this by saying that at least this way, he's not ruining his own health.
- Behavioral Conditioning: Mr. Cat attempts to cure Stumpy and Quack Quack's addiction by whacking them on the head with a frying pan each time they took a bite out of the carrots. It fails because they're so addicted that they continue to eat the carrots regardless of the pain.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: The carrots in this episode are clearly meant to parody cigars or cigarettes; they're addictive, and they cause health problems. It's especially evident in the restaurant scene: Stumpy chews his carrots, and the smell annoys Kaeloo (like non-smokers getting annoyed by the smell of tobacco smoke), he taps on the carrot and a few bits fall of (like ashes from a cigarette), and he throws the top of the carrot (the butt of the cigar) at Kaeloo. When Kaeloo asks Mr. Cat (the waiter) to make them leave, he says he can't because they're in the "carrot zone" (smoking zone).

- Here We Go Again!: After Stumpy and Quack Quack get over their addiction to carrots, they get addicted to another G-Rated Drug, tomato juice.
- Scare 'Em Straight: Parodied. Kaeloo decides to pull a scare 'em straight by lying to Stumpy and Quack Quack that they'll turn into rabbits if they keep eating carrots. She also points out that Stumpy must have already begun turning into one because he has buckteeth, and ignoring the fact that Stumpy has always had buckteeth, the two boys decide to give up carrots for good. And then they get addicted to something else.
