Following the events of "Let's Play Pirates: Curse of the Map", the rest of the crew runs into Stumpy, who has now been turned into a Cyborg by Olaf. Olaf gives them the chance to split up into teams and search for a treasure, with the winner being crowned "emperor of pirates".
"Let's Play Pirates 2: Revenge of the Emperor" contains the following tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: Usually, when the characters are stuck in a dark place and can't see, they yell "Quack Quack, lights!" and Quack Quack uses his Eye Beams as a light source. In this episode, Kaeloo yells "Quack Quack, lights!" and Quack Quack... turns on an actual lamp.
- Description Cut: When picking supplies for their treasure hunts, Kaeloo and Quack Quack take useful items such as a lantern and a compass, while Mr. Cat asks for a lawn chair, a magazine with a pin-up, and a bottle of rum. Stumpy (who is on Mr. Cat's team) is certain that being The Smart Guy, Mr. Cat has some sort of amazing plan to get there first. Scene cut to Mr. Cat, drunk off his ass, sitting on the lawn chair while singing loudly and looking at the magazine, while Stumpy carries him on his back.
- Multi-Part Episode: The second part of a two-part episode.
- Sudden Downer Ending: The main four manage to find the treasure and get back to Olaf alive. Just as it looks like Olaf is about to reward them, Olaf suddenly leaves with both the treasure and the reward, revealing that the main four have been scammed.
- Wimp Fight: Kaeloo and Quack Quack find the treasure, but realizing that only one of them can claim the treasure, they start a slap fight with their eyes closed.
