"Let's Play Streetball" contains the following tropes:
- Badass Arm-Fold: Stumpy, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat do this in the rap music video at the end.
- A Wild Rapper Appears!: Parodied. Stumpy shows up dressed like a rapper and starts rapping... in the middle of a basketball game, confusing the others.
- True Companions: Kaeloo worries that her bad temper will earn her a place in Hell, but the others promise her that they'll probably also go to Hell and then the four of them can spend eternity together.
