Johnny wants to go to a music festival, but his dad refuses. However, when Hugh sarcastically states the only way it'll happen is if one happens in their backyard for free, Johnny takes him at his word and borrows his sisters' construction drones to build a music stage in the backyard of their house. Johnny even books the current techno music sensation, Cosmic Robotica, to come play at it. Everything seems to go smoothly, until a UFO suddenly appears in the midst of the celebration and threatens to blast Comic Robotica for stealing their music.

- Canon Character All Along: Cosmic Robotica turn out to be Mr. Black and Mr. White. They explain that after getting some alien signals, they used it to make their music.

- Exact Words: The whole plot gets kickstarted due to some Sarcasm Failure on Hugh's part when he tells Johnny the only way he'll take him to a music festival is if it it's "free and in the backyard." Johnny decides that he was being serious with that declaration.
- Running Gag: Dukey having a "Worst things that can happen" list and pulling it out when something he predicts goes wrong.

Likewise, when Johnny and Dukey try to play some music for them, they claim they stole that song too to their confusion.
- Tempting Fate: When Cosmic Robotica shows up, Johnny mocks Dukey's list of things that'll go wrong and, upon checking over the last item to be aliens invading, scoffs at the notion. Take a wild guess what happens next.
