"Magnificent!"

Snoopascope, A Magic Bag of Tricks is a 1960 Felix the Cat cartoon and the 42nd episode of the Felix the Cat (Joe Oriolo) series.

Felix is walking through the countryside when he comes a cross a crevice, deciding to use his Magic Bag of Tricks to cross it. He turns it into a cannon and launches himself across. The bag returns to normal and leaps across to Felix. Felix walks past a mount of dirt with a flower on it, and Professor pops his head out of it, deciding it's his big chance to get the Bag of Tricks. He rushes back to his lab to spy on Felix with his Snoopascope. Felix finds two trees and turns the bag into a hammock to rest between them. At the lab, Professor is watching Felix, complaining that he can't get the Magic Bag out of his head and resolves not to rest until he gets it. Professor grabs a can of black paint, a piece of hose and a black hat, disguising himself as a cat with it. Professor finds Felix sleeping, and introduces himself as Felix's long lost Uncle Hector. Felix takes the bait, and "Hector" invites Felix to chat at the house, and offers to carry the bag for Felix. Felix almost gives it to him, but realizes he doesn't have an Uncle Hector, and knocks off Professor's hat, blowing the disguise. Felix runs with Professor in hot pursuit. Foiled, Professor goes back to the drawing board, and builds a mockup railroad station as a trap for Felix. Felix nearly takes the bait, but he catches on simply by the fact that there's no railroad tracks. Foiled once more, Professor goes back to his lab and grabs an old suitcase, painting it to look like Felix's Magic Bag. He catches up to Felix, who is sniffing a flower, swaps out the real Magic Bag with the fake one, and rushes back to the lab with his prize. Felix comes across an angry bull, and boasts that it doesn't scare him, and tries to turn his bag into a bicycle to escape, but only gets a pair of socks from it. The bull chases Felix off of a cliff, and Felix grabs a branch for dear life, which starts to break under his weight.

At his lab, Professor gloats about how he now has the bag and can rule the world with it, and uses his Snoopascope again to watch Felix as he's hanging helplessly from the tree branch. The branch gives out and Felix falls, but he safely lands in a birds nest below. Professor then tries to get the bag to turn into a rocket ship, but it refuses to obey him. He kicks it in frustration, but the bag turns into a boxing glove and bounces back at Professor, socking him. He tries to force it open with a crowbar, but the bag swallows him whole and then spits him out with enough force to smash his head through the wall. Professor grabs an axe and slices the bag in half, but it simply splits into two more bags and then reforms. Back at the nest, Felix decides he has to stop Professor before he discovers the secret of the bag, but he's unable to climb back up the cliff. Just then, an eagle flies past the nest, and Felix grabs onto it to get out of there. The bird flies right over the Professor's lab and Felix drops into it. Professor tries to plant a bomb near the bag, but Felix lands on his head and makes him fall, with the bomb blowing up in his face, with the bag unharmed. Felix grabs his bag and sarcastically thanks Professor for minding his bag, and begins to walk away. Professor quickly pulls a lever to seal the lab door, but Felix simply turns his bag into a drill and screws through it. Felix runs away as Professor chases after him with a butterfly net, but Professor trips and ends up falling off the same cliff and into the same nest Felix was in earlier. Felix quips "Happy landings!" as the eagle returns to his nest, mistaking Professor's bald head for an egg. Professor pleads for it to get off as the bird sits on him and starts knitting. Felix winks to the audience and laughs as the cartoon irises out.
