The ritual to bring Redfield Back from the Dead is all set. Will it succeed?
Tropes:
- Failure Is the Only Option: Even if Rowan agrees that the ritual is a good idea and executes it perfectly, Noah or Devon (depending on who became Redfield) will not be brought back from the dead.
- Early-Bird Cameo: If Devon became Redfield and their love interest was Stacy, Lucas, or Andy, they will show up to the ritual to help Devon, despite not being officially introduced until later on.
- Relationship Values: This is the first chapter where having a high relationship score with certain characters unlocks additional dialogue. In this case, if Lincoln and Jocelyn's relationship scores are 40 or higher, they will care about Rowan enough to check on them at the end of the chapter.
- Rule of Symbolism: When Rowan questions why Connor has to dig a grave and fill it with water as opposed to just getting a kiddie pool, it is explained that the body of water has to be connected to the earth because of this trope.
