After being seen out of disguise by a baby, Zim takes desperate measures to cover his tracks. However, things are complicated as it turns out that the "baby" is actually another alien.

- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: After Zim tells him how serious it is that they've been seen out of their disguises, GIR screams, then turns and walks over to the TV and turns it on.
- Chekhov's Gun: The power amplifier which sends out "deadly waves of stupidness" when GIR plugs his head into it. Zim uses it to render the baby aliens too stupid to fight.
- Contrived Coincidence: Shnooky (Noogums) and his army are a race of aliens who just happen to look exactly like human newborns.
- Dumbass Has a Point:
- After Zim freaks out about being seen out of their disguises by a human baby, GIR points out that not only has Dib seen them out of their disguises, but he also knows where they live.
- GIR is also unconcerned about the prospect of them being caught by a baby, who normally wouldn't know what Zim is and couldn't report him anyway. Zigzagged in that it wasn't actually a baby, but an alien, but neither he nor Zim had any way of knowing that.
- Fartillery: Shnooky is heavily implied to drive Zim out of his room with an especially putrid fart.
- Incoming Ham: "I am the neighborhood baby inspector! I have come to inspect the baby."
- Not Allowed to Grow Up: Enforced. The babies Zim encounters in this episode aren't actually human babies, but aliens who resemble human babies. They're forced to keep up the facade for seven years and their parents presumably don't notice that their babies don't physically age. In the end, Zim renders them all brain-dead, causing them to all act like normal babies.
- Properly Paranoid: At first, it seems like Zim is freaking out over nothing again, but it turns out the baby who saw him is in fact an intelligent alien with his own agenda that could threaten the Irken.
