Read chapter here.

The other members of the Mane 6 meet Harry... and the Dursleys officially become the most hated people in Ponyville. Also, the Crusaders learn that there are worse things in life than having a blank flank...

Tropes that had a panic attack in the library are as follows:

  • Child Abuse Is a Special Kind of Evil: Harry's actions and a few of his comments during the party slowly reveal just how bad the Dursleys abused him. This shocks, infuriates, and/or disgusts everyone in the room.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: How Fluttershy describes Pinkie Pie to Harry:
Fluttershy: Pinkie is overwhelming when you first meet her. I know, because when I first met her I didn’t come out of my house for a week. I don’t think she could hurt anypony, not even by accident. She just wants to be friends with everyone and loves to give parties for any reason you can imagine! And many you can’t!
  • Culture Clash: Instead of a Cutie Mark, Harry has two replicas of his iconic scar on his flanks. Most ponies mistake it for his Cutie Mark until they get a closer look, and are promptly horrified that someone would do that (seeing as how Cutie Marks show one's individuality and special talent), as even if he gets a Cutie Mark (later chapters heavily imply that he won't because he's a wizard) it will be defaced by the scars. He, however, came from a culture where no one had Cutie Marks, doesn't expect to get one, and doesn't seem to understand why everyone is making such a big deal about it.
  • Friend to All Children: Fluttershy is the one who manages to calm Harry down and get him to come out from under the couch, and stays by his side the whole party so he'll stay calm.
  • Hold Your Hippogriffs: Sweetie Belle's reaction upon seeing a scar in place of a Cutie Mark on Harry's flank is "Oh my sweet Celestia!"
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Pinkie when she realized she just hit Harry's Trauma Button. She apologizes the second he's calmed down, and offers him a cupcake.
  • Scars Are Forever: Not even being a unicorn gets rid of Harry's scar, as he not only has his trademark scar on his forehead (hidden by his mane), but he has two identical scars on his flanks, right where a Cutie Mark would be.
