Bonding Arc Chapter One: Kyoko Comes to Class! Please Help Me Study, Makoto!

Summary
When Kyoko decides to come back to class on a regular basis, she finds herself struggling academically from having missed two weeks' worth of instruction. Faced with no other option, she asks Makoto to help her study for her make-up exam. Will Makoto be able to help her in her time of need? Or will this be a secret opportunity for her to bond with another of her classmates?
- Ditzy Genius: Taka's one of the most academic students of the class and is able to help Kyoko study, though she and Makoto do note that he can be very... enthusiastic about it.
- First-Name Basis: After their study session, Taka lets Kyoko call him by his first name.
- Gotta Pass the Class: Downplayed. While she isn't at risk of getting kicked out of Hope's Peak, due to the school's focus on talent over academics, she does want to improve her grades after seeing she's doing poorly on her tests.
- So Proud of You: A non-verbal example. When Jin arrives to personally hand Kyoko her graded makeup test, he nods at her with a big smile on his face.
- School of No Studying: Deconstructed. Due to her not attending class to do detective work, Kyoko misses out on the lessons and is falling behind. It gets so bad that she had to turn in her Algebra test blank due to not knowing how to solve any of the equations.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Due to Kyoko taking advantage of Hope's Peak's rule allowing her to skip class in order to do detective work, this causes her to fall behind in class.
