Foreshadowing: Throughout the episode, Hakase and Kozukozu rarely react to what the Akibarangers say and what little reactions given don’t match what was just said one-for-one. The end of the episode reveals that the Akibarangers were Killed Off for Real and can only interact with the pair as intangible spirits.
"Ray of Hope" Ending: Despite being ghosts and ascending to the other side, Akagi tells the audience that the Akibarangers will return if Saburo Hatte decides to renew them for a third season.
