Henry has come down with a cold and is unable to come to work, but when Ray assumes Henry is lying about being sick to avoid his job, he has Schwoz put up cameras to spy on him to Charlotte's detest.
Tropes:
- And This Is for...: Charlotte says, "That's for not letting me out of the tube!" after kicking Schwoz in the crotch when he finally lets her out.
- Blatant Lies: When Jasper sees Charlotte locked in the tube, Ray lies and tells him it's a game; when she cries out that it's not a game, he claims it's part of the game. Being the dumb one he is, Jasper falls for it.
- "Eureka!" Moment: When Ray is unable to get any evidence that Henry is not sick on the monitors, Jasper interrupts and says he has been friends with Henry forever and if he isn't sick, he would tell him in person. This gives Ray the idea to put a wire on Jasper and meet up with Henry so he can get him to admit he's not sick.
- Forgotten Phlebotinum: Apparently, Ray forgot about the Truth Fingers he used on Henry back in "Birthday Girl Down", since it never downed on him to use that invention to prove he's not pretending to be sick.
- Jerkass: Ray was at his worst this episode, not believing Henry was only sick, sends in Schwoz to spy on him and invade his privacy, manipulates Jasper into becoming his mook, and even locks Charlotte in the tubes so she doesn't interfere.
- Only Sane Man: Charlotte is the only character other than Henry, Jake, and Piper who isn't a jerkass or idiot, as she knew right away that Henry is not pretending to be sick. She spends the majority of the episode locked in the tube because Ray doesn't want her to interfere.
- Playing Sick: What Ray thought Henry was doing for three days missing work, assuming Henry only pretended to be sick on purpose to avoid his job.
- Sick Episode: Henry is bedridden with a cold for three days; unfortunately, Ray thought he was Playing Sick to get out of going to work.
- Shout-Out: Schwoz dresses up similar to Mario when setting up the cameras.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: Henry vomiting brown soup all over Ray was not shown on-camera, only seen in Reaction Shot by the stunned customers and Jasper.
- Wounded Gazelle Gambit:
- Ray assumed Henry was pulling one on him with his cold, making him think he's sick so he can skip work.
- Charlotte manages to pull an actual one when she pretends to lose consciousness from suffocation in the tube, to trick Schwoz into thinking she needs help, so he finally releases her from the tube. After helping her up, Charlotte promptly gives Schwoz a Groin Attack.
