Meanwhile, Charlotte is also competing in the spelling bee to get her fourth straight win and to become the first Swellviewian to win four years straight.

- The Bet: Dr. Minyak's bet is this: Whoever loses has to pedal a child's tricycle from Swellview all the way to California and back.
- Friend-or-Idol Decision: Captain Man can finish spelling his word or misspell on purpose so Charlotte can be the first Swellviewian to win for the fourth year in a row; he ultimately ends up choosing the latter.
- Given Name Reveal: Charlotte's surname is revealed to be Page.
- Hope Spot: After Henry challenges Dr. Minyak's spelling of "zeitgeist" and Schwoz adds a Q to the end of the word online to make him lose, he tells Captain Man that he still hasn't won yet and if Charlotte wins, then he has to pedal a tricycle to California and back with him.
- Recycled Soundtrack: The music during the spelling montage is the same tune used in "Brawl in the Hall" during Charlotte's fight training.
- Spelling Bee: The main point of the episode. Dr. Minyak challenges Captain Man to compete; Charlotte is also competing as well because she won the past three years and if she wins this year, she'll be the first person in Swellview ever to win four years straight.
