Henry and Ray have to deal with an especially annoying new villain, the Spoiler. Meanwhile, Piper is pushed to her limits as she tries to join a popular Captain Man fan club.

- Alpha Bitch: Paula Makiato is not at all a nice girl, berating and shunning Piper in any way.
- Big Brother Instinct: When Henry sees Piper crying, he promises her that Captain Man will be at the Galaxy Wars 9 premiere so she can get her selfie.
- Big Damn Heroes: Piper saves Kid Danger from the Spoiler by beating the heck out of him, which in turn impresses Captain Man and makes her the new President of the Man Fans.
- Call-Back: When meeting Captain Man at the premiere, Piper brings up the time he shot an alien off her face.
- Engineered Heroics: Piper's first attempt to get a selfie with Captain Man is making Jasper hang out the bedroom window so Captain Man can rescue him. Unfortunately, Gooch doesn't accept that as a Captain Man emergency and more like a fire department emergency instead.
- Missed Him by That Much: Ray leaves the theater to get some popcorn just before the Spoiler appears before everyone.
- Ignoring by Singing: Charlotte and the audience go "LALALALALALA!" to ignore the Spoiler.
- Ironic Echo: When Piper is whining to Paula over her failed Engineered Heroics, Paula mocks her whining and replies, "That's how you sound!" Later when Paula is called out by Captain Man for not doing anything to save him, Paula claims she was going to do something, then Piper says the exact same thing to Paula.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Paula gets removed as president of the Man Fans, and Piper becomes the new president in her place.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Piper of all people starts crying, you know something's wrong.
- Opening Shout-Out: When Ray and Henry go up the tube, Ray loses his popcorn like how Henry loses his boot in the intro.
- Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: Delivered as an ultimatum by Paula to the upset Piper:Paula: If you wanna join my club... then GET. A SELFIE. WITH CAPTAIN MAN.
- Spoiler: A literal example of this trope. There is a villain called "The Spoiler" who spoils important plot points in movies and tv and ruins it for everyone.
- Shout-Out: Galaxy Wars is a reference to Star Wars with Ray and Henry's costumes based on Luke Skywalker and the Stormtrooper respectively.
