Out of blizzard, into a desert. The Story Zone they've entered wasn’t anything like the Snow Queen’s land. It's a desert with scorching sunlight. Tired from blazing hot weather and sunlight, Reina accepts water from Aladdin who appeared out of nowhere. Before the others warn Reina, she gives in to the temptation of water. As soon as Reina drinks up the water, Aladdin disappears. Then a group of Villains appeared since Aladdin’s plan was to force the heroes to fight the Villains in the middle of a desert.

Desert Troublemaker II (砂漠の悪童Ⅱ)

Aladdin was happy about his plan going right, However, he didn’t expect that the heroes would catch up fast after defeating the Villains. Furious, Reina slaps Aladdin right across his cheek. For some reason, that makes Aladdin fall in love with Reina. With Aladdin’s persuasion, the heroes make their way to the city.

Aladdin History (アラジン・ヒストリー)

The heroes hear about the magic lamp that can grant any wish from Aladdin. Aladdin used to be rich thanks to the Genie of the Lamp, but he was exiled after the Sultan took the lamp from him. The heroes discuss what they want to wish for if they get the lamp. Reina answers that she wants to find the [Sorcerer]. Although she didn’t say much more, she showed strong hostility towards the [Sorcerer].

As the sun sets in the desert, Reina collapses from exhaustion. Although the heroes decide to rest until Reina recovers, she wanted to keep going to stop the Chaos Teller at once. When the heroes convince Reina to get some rest, she falls asleep. Aladdin wonders why Reina would be obsessed with the Chaos Teller and Tao tells him what happened in her past. Long ago, Reina's Story Zone was destroyed by a Chaos Teller. For Reina, the Chaos Tellers were her mortal enemies.

Reina History (レイナ・ヒストリー)

Reina used to be a princess of her Story Zone. Then one day, her Story Zone's Story Teller was warped into a Chaos Teller and ended her Story Zone’s existence. Ever since, Reina was searching for Chaos Tellers. Hearing Reina's past, Ex is shocked. Even Aladdin, who didn’t know anything about the Chaos Tellers, offers to lend his strength. Then suddenly, Villains attack the heroes.

After protecting Reina from harm, the heroes fall off to sleep. Only Ex and Aladdin stay awake for a little longer, and they acknowledge each other's strength and form a friendship. Next morning, Reina wakes up feeling refreshed. Seeing how her friends have fought all night long to protect her, she secretly thanks everyone for their kindness.

Sorcerer Laughs at the Fate (魔法使いは運命をあざ笑う)

The heroes find an oasis and decide to get some rest. As he went alone to get some water, Ex meets the bard that he has met before in Don Quixote’s Story Zone. Hearing how the bard knew about the [Shaman of Attunement], Ex grows suspicious. When Reina comes to find Ex and see the bard, she is shocked. The Bard, Loki, introduces himself as the [Sorcerer] and summons a horde of Villains to attack the heroes. He was the [Sorcerer] that Reina was looking for.

Loki keeps sending Villains to the heroes, and the heroes are locked into a never-ending battle. According to Reina, Loki is able to make Chaos Tellers. The one who destroyed Reina's Story Zone, and all the Chaos Tellers that the heroes fought — they were all Loki's doings. As Loki gleefully summons a Mega Villain, Reina grows more furious with Loki.

Loki taunts Reina by calling her [Princess]. Reina lets down her guard due to anger, and a Villain attacks her in that moment. Reina is in danger. Until... Aladdin steps in and takes the blow for her. With a mortal wound, Aladdin dies contently while accepting his fate. Regret Marked in the Heart III (胸に刻みし悔恨Ⅲ)

Another night falls on the desert. Unable to sleep, Reina and Ex talk about Aladdin. The [Attunement] will only reverse the Chaos Teller’s perversion, But not the death itself. Even if the Story Zone gets [Attuned], Aladdin will not return. Reina tells Ex about the harsh reality of the Story Tellers, and tell him to get some rest. Even then, Ex couldn’t accept the reality. To bring Aladdin back to life, Ex vows that he’ll take back the magic lamp.

Palace Sorcerer (宮殿の魔法使い)

Loki was waiting for the heroes in the palace. The heroes were in conflict, since [Attuning] Chaos Teller would mean that Aladdin the heroes have traveled with will no longer exist. However, Reina seems set on carrying out her duty regardless. Seeing how his words won’t do any good, Loki stops taunting the heroes and summons more Villains.

End of a Boy (ひとりの少年の結末)

Realizing how Villains weren't enough anymore, Loki calls upon the Chaos Teller and leaves. Reina stops Ex from chasing Loki. Saying that the [Attunement] comes first, Reina faces the Sultan with the heroes. Will they be able to defeat the Sultan and his puppet, the Genie?

Ex defeats the Sultan and gains hold of the magic lamp. Unfortunately, the magic lamp is destroyed as it reached it's limit. They couldn't revive Aladdin anymore. Ignoring Ex's plea, Reina carries out the [Attunement] of the Chaos Teller. After the [Attunement], another boy appeared to act out Aladdin's role in this Story Zone. After getting the taste of how cruel the world can be, Ex vows that he’ll never forget Aladdin.

Tropes appearing in this episode:

  • Anti-Villain: The Lamp Spirit may be an enemy, but he only follows the command of whoever holds the lamp. By the end of the chapter, he's seen accompanying Aladdin peacefully.
  • Arc Villain: The Sultan, who is helped by the Lamp Spirit. Though his existence isn't hinted until after the confrontation with Loki.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Aladdin dies while he's in Reina's arms. He's pretty content with it, since he always wanted to die in the arms of a woman he fell in love with.
  • Evil All Along: The Bard from Don Quixote's Story Zone is actually a sorcerer called Loki, and Reina's personal enemy.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Aladdin dies protecting a distracted Reina from a Boogie Villain's attack.
  • Killed Off for Real: The party is unable to bring back Aladdin to life since the magic lamp got destroyed. After Reina attunes the Story Zone, Aladdin's role as the main character is carried over by a different boy.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something: Reina reveals she was a princess in her own world, which was destroyed by Loki. After that, she took it upon herself to get rid of the Chaos Tellers of other Story Zones. Loki mocks Reina by calling her "princess", reminding her of all that she lost because of him.
