Our very first glimpse at Goomzilla's plush series.

After the Mario Bros. once again save the princess from Bowser, he gets the idea to empower himself with mushrooms. Thus began the construction of Bowser's Mushroom Factory, though the mushrooms only empower Bowser's troops, not Bowser himself. Curiosity leads the Mario Bros. to check out the factory, where they discover the mushrooms that the factory is making. They are able to use the Mushrooms to their advantage, but so are Bowser's troops. In the chaos that followed, a giant Koopa spins out of control and destroys the whole factory, while the Mario Bros. escape.

Meanwhile, Princess Peach has baked a cake for Mario, but Mario's hijinks at the factory made him forget that he had a cake to attend to. Tired of waiting for the Mario Bros., Peach goes to them instead, only to find their house accidentally toppled over. When the Mario Bros. come home, they fix the house, and go with Peach to the castle for the much-needed cake...only to find that Toad ate it all.

Tropes applying to Bowser's Mushroom Factory:

  • Bill... Bill... Junk... Bill...: Mario going through his bills near the beginning, complete with Mario's Italian gibberish from the Mario & Luigi games edited to make it sound like he's saying "bill". It should also be noted that the bills here were tiny paper cards with the word "bill" on them. Hey, size perspective is important.
  • Bittersweet Ending: The Mario Bros. defeat Bowser yet again and their house is fixed, but they come back to see that Toad ate all of the cake that Peach prepared for them.
  • Damsel in Distress: The very first image of Goomzilla's series is poor Peach trapped in a cage hanging behind a laughing Bowser.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Apparently, Bowser didn't realize that Mario and Luigi can just use the Mushrooms that were intended for his troops to power themselves up. He also didn't count on the giant Koopa inadvertently destroying the factory.
  • Double Meaning: The torn "Bowser's Mushroom Factory" banner leaves out "room Factory". Think about that for a minute.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: If the different Peach plush, lack of voiceovers, more generic backgrounds, quieter soundtrack, and an older-style camera used to film everything didn't tip you off, this is Goomzilla's first video.
  • Hilarious Outtakes: At the end of the video.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Zigzagged. Bowser tries to fight Mario back with the Mushrooms he uses to power himself up. They won't work on Bowser, but they will work on his troops, who actually do manage to give the brothers a few scrapes while they were big. But all of Bowser's work would be for naught when Koopa—enlarged by the mushroom from this very factory—spins out of control and destroys the whole factory.
  • No Hero Discount: Despite Mario's heroic deeds, he still receives bills.
