Frasier begins dating a woman (played by Illeana Douglas), unaware that she is the wife of his station manager, Kenny.
Tropes:
- Accidental Adultery: Frasier was not initially aware that he was romancing a married woman, only realizing the truth when Kenny figures out his wife's cheating on him, comes to Frasier for help, and shows Frasier a picture of his wife.
- Mistaken Identity: Kenny's wife scares Kenny's date away from the restaurant before Frasier gets there, so when he arrives he assumes the wife is the date.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Kenny is horrified with himself for making a date with another woman and begs Frasier to deal with her so he won't be tempted.
- Put on a Bus: The episode ends with Daphne agreeing to go to a weight-loss camp. In reality this was so Jane Leeves could go on maternity leave.
- The Scapegoat: To hide her obsessive eating habits, Daphne lets other members of the Crane household get blamed for the various sweets hidden throughout the house. However, it unravels in the end, when chocolates fall out of her coat when she and Niles are about to leave.
- Secret Snack Stash: Daphne hides various sweet foods around the house so she can keep eating even though she's supposed to be on a diet.
- Weight Woe: Daphne's season-long habit of gaining extra weight has reached the point where Niles has gotten her an exercise machine...but she still sneaks off to enjoy some snacks.
