When a contact of Eddie's is killed, Eddie infiltrates an insane asylum in search of answers. However, he becomes an unwilling test subject for the aliens.
Tropes:
- Gaslighting: Patients at the asylum are made crazy via a needle-shaped device inserted into the neck. Eddie manages to work this out as he descends into madness and removes it. A Gua agent tries to tag Cade with one, but is caught and threatened with it himself.
- Honey Trap: One of Eddie's fellow patients is beautiful blonde Mary, who climbs in bed with Eddie to plant the Gua crazy-making device on him.
- Too Good to Be True: Eddie decides he should have realised Mary was this trope: of course a beautiful young woman being attracted to him is part of a Gua plot.
