Best Foot Forward is the seventh episode in Series 6 of Fireman Sam.
Charlie takes the kids mussel hunting, and Norman gets his foot stuck in some rocks.
Tropes:
- Cat Up a Tree: One of Sam and Elvis' missions is to get Lion out of a tree.
- Chekhov's Gun: Sam shows Elvis the Jaws of Life, and tells him he can use them on their next mission. Elvis gets this chance when Norman gets his foot wedged between some rocks; his shoe is stuck, so Elvis gets it out.
- New-Age Retro Hippie: Bronwyn has a crystal necklace in this episode that she's convinced is good luck. She also becomes a literal tree hugger in one scene, when Lion is stuck in a tree and Elvis suggests using the Jaws of Life to get him down.
- Sibling Rivalry: Sarah and James spend most of the episode bickering over who's better at collecting mussels.
