Tropes:
- Evil Knockoff: Vritra creates copies of various Chaldean Servants to serve as the guardians for her occluded Singularities. Compared to most examples the crew have encountered, these copies are some of the most impressive by copying their originals right down to the personality, even as they’re aware of their true nature.
- Judgment of Solomon: Saint Martha and Lambdaryllis get into a custody fight over Tarasque, which involves flinging the dragon at each other like a hockey puck. Karna even references the Trope Namer regarding their dispute. When Martha pushes Tarasque with enough force to force Lambda to dodge, Lambda claims that she wins because she didn’t use her full strength when Tarasque was in pain. Martha, on the other hand, points out that she knew Tarasque could take her punches and thus knew him better than Lambda.
- Late-Arrival Spoiler: The event can be accessed after only clearing Fuyuki, but it reveals the true names of Paraíso's assassin, Mochizuki Chiyome, and Nightless City's caster, Sheherazade. It also shows some details of Arjuna Alter, Lostbelt King of Lostbelt No. 4.
- Misery Builds Character: Da Vinci assumes that Vritra loves watching humans overcome all adversities and will gladly be the necessary evil that will prompt further progress. Vritra doesn't really agree with her assumption, but she admits she loves tormenting people because she finds it entertaining when humans try their best to overcome all the trouble she creates and become stronger afterwards.
- Straight Man: Arjuna serves as the straight man for Santa Karna’s antics.
