- “The Prophecy”: As the kingdoms of Dana and Tuan fight in a war that has lasted for four hundred years, the stars align in the night sky above a fortuitous event- the birth of a princess foretold to bring peace to the war-stricken lands.
- “The Grotto Of The Holy Beast”: After suffering mysterious dreams, Fantaghiro sets out on the beginning of an adventure that will lead to her facing a dragon.
- “The Scarlet Night”: Fantaghiro disguises herself as a knight to enter a tournament- unfortunately, the Black Witch has discovered this and sends a Black Knight to kill the princess.
- “The Duel Of Love”: Fantaghiro and Romulado find themselves set to duel each other- each in a disguise, so that neither knows the other’s true identity.
- “The Hunter’s Prey”: Fantaghiro is blessed by the White Fairy to be immune to weapons- unfortunately, this blessing also makes her unable to wield any herself, and she finds herself having to rescue King Hadrian from his capture by the Black Witch.
- “The Rescue Of The Kuorum”: Fantaghiro battles her way through the castle of the Black Witch in order to recover the magical Kuorum, but finds herself having to fight Romualdo, who has been put under a spell by the Black Witch.
- “The Forest Of The Elves”: As Fantaghirò and Romualdo are traveling to the kingdom of Torelia, they are attacked by Darken and the Black Witch again, and this time they are separated in the Forest of the Elves, wherein Fantaghiro must face three trials…
- “Heart Of Stone”: A curse turns Romualdo into a stone statue, and Fantaghiro finds that the only way to restore her beloved is a kiss… from Tabaras, the dark wizard who cast the curse. This should be interesting…
- “The Black Cloud”: The Black Witch conjures a Black Cloud- a terrible monster of wind and rain- and sets it on the castle of Tuan.
- “Captain Redface”: Fantaghiro must overcome pirates and sharks in order to rescue Romualdo and King Hadrian.
- “The Horseman Of Hate”: Darken and the Black Witch send the Horseman Of Hate in order to rekindle the war between Dana and Tuan.
- “The Underground War”: Strange earthquakes begin to shake the land of Tuan, and soon the whole kingdom threatens to fall away into one giant sinkhole.
- “Pirate Noname”: Fantaghiro finds herself venturing into another world to save its inhabitants from a mysterious pirate lord.
- “The Genie Of Evil”: Prince Taher, from the faraway kingdom of Ben-Bekar, visits the fortress of Tuan. He is accompanied by an urn, dully kept under custody, that contains a powerful genie of evil. Princess Caroline’s curiosity causes the urn to shatter allowing the genie to escape. The genie departs for Black Mountain, in the desert of Sallet, taking with him Fantaghiro’s two sisters.
- “The Last Goodbye”: Darken sends the Horseman Of Plague to crush Fantaghiro’s kingdom by sending everyone- except Fantaghiro herself- into an eternal slumber.
- “In The Mouth Of Evil”: A terrible storm beats against the Magical Forest of Oread. Darken the wizard has defeated Fantaghiro by transforming her into a statue that will sleep for all eternity.
- “The Cemetery Of Dragons”: Caroline takes her sisters Catherine and Fantaghiro to the market. There, a blind magician named Lenox amazes the public by creating very realistic looking shadow figures. When Fantaghiro calls him an illusionist, Lenox becomes offended and, with the help of his magic walking stick, causes dreams that seem very real to come upon those present. All this frightens poor Caroline and gives Fantaghiro a strange feeling.
- “In The Heart Of The Ice”: High up on Ice Mountain rises an impressive palace made from icicles. Inside the palace, trapped in a frozen pool and guarded by the evil Ice Man, grow some beautiful water lilies, the symbol of eternal love. Fantaghiro knows about the story from her father, King Hadrian, who had always wanted but was never able to give one of those beautiful flowers to the late Queen Alba. Fantaghiro's love for her father and the yearning for her mother, lead her to depart, accompanied by Romualdo and Mother Goose, in search of the mysterious water lilies.
- “The Book Of A Thousand Spells”: Fantaghiro, accompanied by Romualdo, goes to fight a forest monster that was frightening her subjects and discovers that it is a mechanical vehicle. Inside it is Ali, a magician who has a black cat. Ali tells them he is fleeing from the Black Witch and from Isuf, the Wizard of Damascus, who want him to reveal the place in which the Book of a Thousand Spells is hidden.
- “The Weapons Of Peace”: The anger of blacksmith Daniel Hammer leads him to accept a deal with Darken, who gives him the power to crush Fantaghiro, Romualdo, and King Hadrian- and causes a strange life to take hold in the weapons he’s created.
- “The Magic Garden”: One cold night in Tuan, Darken transforms an impoverished sculptor into Skalter, a vindictive artist of evil.
- “Tree World”: Tree World, a gigantic place inhabited by peaceful human-sized insects, receives a visit from the Black Witch and her Diviners, Cucufrac and Recaredo.
- “The Essence Of Life”: Pryderi the alchemist is desperate because his beloved has been sick for a long time and is being consumed and getting closer to her death with each passing day. Desperate enough to do the unthinkable, and make a deal with Lord Darken…
- “The Dark Elf”: An elf accepts the power of Lord Darken, and becomes a monster intent on burning the world’s forests to the ground.
- “The Red Diamond”: On the day of Fantaghiro and Romualdo’s wedding, the witch Dahak awakens from her slumber, and with three of the four elements as her minions she sets out to attack the ceremony.
- “Love Conquers Everything”: Darken contrives his most terrible plan to destroy Fantaghiro for good. He sets a trap to draw the princess to his own kingdom, Volcano, accompanied by the White Fairy. This way the fairy will not pose an obstacle for the Black Witch and will leave the Forest of Oread unprotected, ready to be invaded by Darken’s fiery serpents.
