Double Fault
The Fugitive Task Force springs into action to find a famous foreign tennis player after she's kidnapped from a tennis court in Brooklyn.

- Daddy Didn't Show: Inverted. Sheryll has avoided going to her father's birthday due to their strained relationship over Sheryll's decision to work for the FBI clashing with her father's civil rights activist background.
- Fantasy-Forbidding Father: Sheryl's father, a former civil rights activist, does not approve of Sheryl working for the FBI which has been the source of their strained relationship.
- MookâFace Turn: Lula convinces the youngest IRGC soldier, Ehsan, that the regime he is fighting for is wrong and there is a chance for a better future for their people. When Ehsan's superior officer attempts to shoot at the FBI, Ehsan shoots him dead and surrenders to the FBI. As the FBI arrests Ehsan, Lula speaks out for him and begs them not to hurt him.
- Mugged for Disguise: The kidnappers kill an EMT crew attending a sporting event and steal their uniforms and gurney.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Sheryll's mentor, retired NYPD detective and private investigator Chuck Poffo, is ashamed to learned that he has been duped by the Iranians to find Lula for them and goes out of his way to help the FBI rescue her.
- Ripped from the Headlines: Lula spoke out against the death of Mahsa Amini
at the hands of Iran's religious morality police, which has made her a target of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. - Tampering with Food and Drink: The Revolutionary Guard spikes Lula's water bottle. When she collapses from the poison, their fake EMTs swoop in and pick her up.
- Trojan Ambulance: An unusual ambulance-less version. The kidnappers kill an EMT crew attending a sporting event and steal their uniforms and gurney. Then, when their intended victim collapses from being poisoned, the fake EMTs swoop in, load her on to the gurney, and carry her out and load her into a fake taxi.
