A Smurf adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. During the night, the Smurflings find themselves brought to the magical world of the Land of Odds, where Sassette becomes Dorothy, Nat becomes the Scarecrow, Slouchy becomes the Tin Woodsmurf, and Snappy becomes the Cowardly Lion.
This story provides examples of:
- Adapted Out: The Munchkins do not appear in this version of the story.
- All Just a Dream: Like the film version, the Smurflings' travel to the Land of Odds was this.
- And You Were There: The Smurflings recognize various Smurfs from the village playing various roles in the story. Smurfette is Glinda the Good Witch, Hefty and Duncan McSmurf are the guards to the Emerald Village, Vanity is its tour guide, Brainy is the Wizard's custodian, and it appears that Papa Smurf (through the holographic head projection) is the Wizard, though it turns out to be Empath. Gargamel, however, is given a gender swap as he portrays the Wicked Witch of the West. Puppy, appearing as a smaller version of himself, is the analog of Toto.
- Compressed Adaptation: This version of the story does not contain any of the musical numbers from the 1939 film adaptation that it is based on.

- Tickle Torture: The Smurflings torture the Wizard's custodian with this in order to allow them access to the Wizard.
