Elena, Gabe, and Isabel go on a mission to undo a curse when an explorer is turned into a gecko.

- Both Sides Have a Point: Isabel criticizes Elena for her Leeroy Jenkins tendencies. At the same time, Elena criticizes Isa for always stopping and double-checking every little thing even when they can't afford to lose precious time.
- Breather Episode: The first filler to take place after the previous, which is what shifts the show from Slice of Life to a more story-heavy show.
- Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Gabe is the first one to see the large gecko that's Agama's cursed form and starts freaking out.Elena: Gabe, they're just tiny little liz—[sees the gecko]—ards.
Isabel: Gabe's right. We should run! - Noodle Incident: This isn't the first time Antonio was placed under a curse that turned him into an animal...and a gecko is only the second worst animal he turned into. When Isabel asks what the first was, all Antonio says is that she doesn't want to know.
- Running Away to Cry: When Elena indirectly accuses Isabel of being the reason they're trapped in the temple, she storms to the other end of the stone enclosure they're trapped in and starts crying. This prompts Elena to realize she went too far and apologize to her.
- Shout-Out: Elena and Isa get out of their stone enclosure by pressing their backs against each other while they walk up the walls, just like Kuzco and Pacha did.
- You've Gotta Be Kidding Me!: Gabe says this when he accidentally sets off a booby trap after Antonio is turned back to normal.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Gabe is revealed to be afraid of geckos.
