- Power Floats: Kimberly briefly floats when she tries to use witchcraft against Fridgy.
- Self-Destruct Mechanism: The appliance company's secret lair has one, which activates when Kimberly makes the smart appliances fight each other.
- Sexy Discretion Shot: Jack and Annie hook up on the kitchen floor, but the scene cuts to the fridge placing orders for random food items they shout out.
- Shoot the Dog: Parodied when Jack has to take the old fridge to the dump. When it stalls in the middle of the slope, he takes out a shotgun and shoots it. On the other side, he sees another family to the same to its appliances; they both raise their guns as a salute.
