Recap / Dream SMPS 1 E 3

Not long after Wilbur Soot joined the server, he had built a caravan, with a plan to monopolize the server's "drugs" (actually potions) with Tommyinnit. On July 24th, 2020, he decided to start his business, to which Tommy agreed. While scamming Tubbo and Sapnap out of their blaze rods, the latter became suspicious and followed them to their "drug lab" (actually the caravan, full of brewing stands.) Sapnap and Tubbo quickly discovered that the two were illegally dealing drugs, and recruited Purpled, Eret and Ponk to arrest them. Wilbur recruited Fundy onto his side as well. After a long-fought battle, many of Sapnap's recruits defected to Wilbur's side, and his only remaining ally was Purpled. Knowing the two were outmatched, he decided to surrender and let Wilbur and Tommy have their drugs. The winner was a lone Purpled who decided to lash out in frustration and kill a few people. Wilbur disbanded the drug army and decided on a new plan.

Wilbur had realized that in the earlier battles nearly all of their enemies were Americans. Thus, on July 29th, he had the idea to create a nation separate from the Greater Dream SMP, in a similar way to The American Revolution. Wilbur and Tommy both brainstormed names for the nation, and settled on... L'Manburg. Wilbur created American Revolution-inspired skins for himself, Tommy, and the three other revolutionaries on his side: Tubbo, Fundy, and Eret.

Wilbur decided to negotiate the new nation being created when showing Dream a formal Declaration Of Independence, and after it had been delivered to him, Dream wrote a Declaration Of War.

After a few initial skirmishes, on August 1st, Dream sent the L'Manburgians a message;

"Tommy, Wilbur, and the rest of L'Manchildberg. We are at war. There is no mercy. We have burned down Tubbo's house, we have planted TNT canons around your land, we have cobblestone-walled the outside, and we have shot one warning shot inside your walls. We have no mercy! No mercy for you! We will burn down your houses, we will kill everything inside your walls, and we will take back the land that is rightfully ours! If you do not surrender! I wanna see white flags, white flags outside your base by tomorrow at dawn, or you are dead!"

The L'Manburgians each prepared for war, with Tubbo grinding potions off-stream, and Tommy attempted to negotiate with Punz and Dream, the former with a meaningless title, and the latter with Mellohi. One of Tommy's most prized possessions was now on the line. But as Tommy was in the process of leaving Dreams base, his entire army logged onto the server. Dream chased down Tubbo, and slaid him, burning the potions he had worked so hard to get. Tommy soon realized that they had to stall Dream's army, else the attack would happen now. Tommy went to his house to speak with Dream, and found his property lined with TNT. He attempted one last time to convince Dream that they were in the wrong, but Dream would not listen, ordering Punz to simply kill him. Dream gave the L'Manburgians a day to surrender... or everything they owned would be gone. When Wilbur logged into the server to hear the news, the preparations for the final battle began.
