After losing the Book of Dragons to Buzzsaw in the previous episode, the Riders try to stop him from capturing a sea dragon in the Water Realm. But after said dragon accidentally drops to the bottom of the ocean still tied up, they have to find a way to free it. Meanwhile, Buzzsaw plots his next move.

- Cliffhanger: Buzzsaw attacks Project I.C.A.R.U.S. and sets the settlement alight hinting that he and the Dragon Club have met before in front of their parents before leaving. The Dragon Club arrives shortly after Buzzsaw left and now have to face their parents' questions about him.
- It's All My Fault: Invoked by Tom at the beginning of the episode.
- Near-Death Experience: While rescuing the Octofin, Tom nearly drowns.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: By letting go of the ropes holding the Octofin in the air to chase after Buzzsaw, Tom made rescuing the Octofin a lot harder.
- A second time later in the episode when Eugene messing with the controls results in the manned probe falling to the bottom.
- Running Gag: Thunder getting the manned probe dropped on his tail.
- Truth in Television: Shortly after exiting the manned probe, Tom displays signs of feeling the effect of the water pressure on his lungs. He ends up nearly drowning.
