After a fight between Jun and Eugene due to the different treatments they receive from their mom, the Riders try to stop Buzzsaw from capturing a Snifflehide, a dragon that relies on its sense of smell. But the Snifflehide kidnaps Eugene as his cologne makes him smell like one of her younglings and takes him to her nest. The Riders eventually manage to wash off the cologne and spray Buzzsaw with it who tries to steal an egg. As the Snifflehide chases Buzzsaw away, Eugene reveals to Jun that their mom treats them differently because she sees her as more capable and vows to become more self-sufficient. Meanwhile, Olivia struggles to keep the secret from a suspicious Sledkin.
