During a tough fight, Alfonse, Marth, Fjorm, and Veronica find themselves flung into a portal bringing them to Grastaea, where Euden and the gang are hard at work fighting off the Dyrenell Empire.
After some research Ranzal finds the possibility of them gaining a new commander. While the gang is fighting the empire and tricked into thinking Veronica is the new commander, Alfonse wakes up to find that Veronica has lost her memory. Despite being his enemy, Alfonse is determined to help her as he tries to figure out where they are, all while keeping her safe from the Dyrenell Empire.
After outrunning them, Alfonse and Veronica run into Euden's group, who believe them to be the enemy. Alfonse tells Veronica to run while he holds Euden off. As the two princes fight, Fjorm arrives to stop them and alert them that they were tricked by Loki.
Meanwhile, Veronica runs into Marth, who promises to keep her safe just as Loki arrives and tells Veronica that Alfonse has ended up in a dungeon. Fearing the worst, Veronica gives herself up. When Marth disagrees with the decision, Loki starts threatening civilian, Veronica agrees further to go with Loki if it means she would get her memory back.
Marth lets the rest of the group know what happened, and they make their way to find that Loki and Harle have tricked Veronica into absorbing black mana. After exhausting it all, Veronica turns her attention to Loki and Harle in anger at them using her.
Alfonse convinces Veronica to fight with them while that are outside of their own world against Loki and Harle. Veronica, although hesitant to work with Alfonse, agrees to a truce for until they get home.
After chasing down Loki, she reveals to Alfonse and Veronica that the number of portals opening up in Grastaea is because of their presence.

- Enemy Mine: Despite being on opposing sides, Alfonse and Veronica agree to a truce for as long as they are in Grastaea.
