Go To

Original air date: 4/20/2003 (produced in 2001)

It's an egg-cellent day for an Egg Hunt Adventure with Dora and Boots! They need your help to find special eggs called "cascarónes" with prizes inside, but the biggest prize of all is in the Big Yellow Egg! Along the way, keep an eye out for other surprise-filled eggs, as well as a few surprises from Swiper the Fox!

Tropes:

  • Ass in a Lion Skin: Swiper puts on a rabbit costume for his first attempt to swipe Dora's eggs, but his tail, which is too big to fit inside the costume and sticks out as a result, gives him away.
  • Easter Episode: Though not explicitly stated it takes place on Easter, it involves Dora and Boots going on an egg hunt as if it were actually Easter.
  • Later-Installment Weirdness: This marks the introduction of the new format for the picture pop-up sequence (with the previous two episodes serving as a transition):
    • Dora no longer asks where to go following the Map segment.
    • Instead of saying the places after they all pop up, each place pops up one by one and she says their names one at a time.
    • Following Map's segment after saying the places, Dora no longer reviews what Map said; she now asks, "Where do we go first?", and the blue cursor clicks on the first place.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Swiper disguises himself as a bunny and later an egg to swipe Dora's eggs. Dora is not fooled by either of them; the first disguise in particular has his own tail.
