A woman whose sister supposedly got caught by an Oni sent a message to Ruli for help. Little do they know they're thrown into the Oboromon's manhunting game...
Tropes:
- The Bus Came Back: After not having a proper appearance for twenty-one episodes, GulusGammamon makes his return.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Well, "Battle" is a bit too generous given the Oboromon's fight with GulusGammamon is less of a fight than GulusGammamon just brutally killing one and agonizingly tearing out and eating the others' color wisps.
- Dwindling Party: The heroes fall victim to Oboromon's deadly game one by one until Kiyoshiro is the only human left.
- Jump Scare: And an extraordinarily nasty one (for Ghost Game standards) at that. When the red Oboromon strikes Gammamon down for the fourth time, everything is suddenly silent for a few seconds before Gammamon rears his head, flashes an incredibly terrifying Nightmare Face and screams. Then he turns into GulusGammamon to brutalize the Oboromon.
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": The entire group is understandably horrified when GulusGammamon returns.
- Nightmare Face: When Gammamon is repeatedly struck down by the red Oboromon, his face contorts in increasingly uncanny ways.
