Japanese Title: Protect the DigiEggs! The Disappearing Miracle of Life

While on the train, the kids wonder if they’ll be capable of beating the Royal Knights, but Takuya knows that they have to beat them if they want to save the Digital World. Bokomon tells them that the train is about to reach the Village of Beginnings, where all Digimon return to when they’re killed and reverted to DigiEggs.

When they reach the village, they’re relieved to find that the Royal Knights haven’t scanned it yet, because Digimon wouldn’t be able to be reborn if they had. The kids are fascinated by the DigiEggs, which seem to grow on bushes and trees, and they soon meet the Swanmon caretaker, who demonstrates how she waters the eggs to keep them healthy. Takuya and Kouji suddenly find their Digivices beeping, with the data of the evil Legendary Warriors acting strange due to the presence of their DigiEggs in the village, but the kids reason that nothing bad should come out of it since they purified them.

Because of Beanstalk Village’s disappearances, all of the Trailmon have hidden away in a tunnel and refuse to come out, and so Swanmon is unable to have the DigiEggs transported to other areas and is forced to take care of them herself. The kids help her feed the babies and put them to bed. While taking a rest, the kids begin to feel a little homesick and wonder if staying in the Digital World was the best choice, but realize that their experiences of becoming Digimon have caused them to start thinking of the Digital World as home.

Izumi suggests finding the Trailmon and convincing them to transport the babies, but when they go off to find them, the Royal Knights approach. As the kids return, having had no luck in convincing the Trailmon, they find the Royal Knights and Swanmon in battle. The Royal Knights are intent on destroying the village, hoping to have the data cloned and placed under Lucemon’s control, and the kids entrust their spirits to Takuya and Kouji so that they can hyper spirit evolve and protect the DigiEggs.

LordKnightmon and Dynasmon attempt to ignore KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon and scan the eggs, but KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon continually interfere. As they prioritize the eggs’ safety over their own, they’re put at a severe liability, and Izumi realizes that the only way to allow them to fight freely is to move the DigiEggs elsewhere. As the kids gather the eggs in the hopes of getting them away, Izumi goes back to the Trailmon and pleads with them to transport the eggs before they’re destroyed, and many of the eggs all around the village start to hatch.

Dynasmon and LordKnightmon defeat KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon and cause them to revert to Takuya and Kouji, but as Dynasmon’s about to land his final attack on them, the baby Digimon that have hatched from the eggs combine their powers and prevent it from hitting. Izumi arrives with the Trailmon and Bokomon and Neemon load the unhatched eggs onto them.

As Izumi, Junpei, Tomoki, and Kouichi go to help Takuya and Kouji, four eggs begin glowing and make their way towards the battlefield. The eggs combine with the data of Mercuremon, Ranamon, Grottomon, and Arbormon, creating astral projections of Cherubimon’s Legendary Warriors to fight with them. All of the kids evolve into their Human Spirit forms, and together, the ten Legendary Warriors manage to attack hard enough to cause LordKnightmon and Dynasmon to flee.

Dynasmon has the last laugh and manages to scan the village before leaving, but all of the eggs are loaded safely into the Trailmon. Mercuremon, Ranamon, Grottomon, and Arbormon revert back to their egg forms and return to the Trailmon, giving Takuya and Kouji their Spirits, and the kids muse that they helped them protect the eggs.

The Trailmon leave to take the DigiEggs to a safe place, and Swanmon thanks them for the help. Takuya says that he wants to take the Village of Beginnings back someday, since it’s a place where Digimon can be reborn safely.
