A demonic biker nicknamed Red Eye starts regularly murdering other bikers. After Red Eye murders the brother of Vincent, the leader of a biker gang, Vincent becomes obsessed with revenge and starts riding everywhere recklessly trying to find him. Dante and fellow devil hunter Lady have been hired by the Highway Department to take out Red Eye. Noticing that Red Eye seems to target bikers who ride at excessive speeds, Dante confronts the biker gang and challenges Vincent to a race on a bridge. Vincent cheats by using a Nitro Boost, and sure enough, Red Eye arrives and Lady prevents Vincent from getting killed. Dante and Lady battle Red Eye and Lady eventually kills him with her rocket launcher, Kalina Ann. Right before he dies, Red Eye torments Vincent by taking on his brother's form.
To Dante's chagrin, they were barely paid anything due to the damage their battle caused to the bridge. Vincent later visits Devil May Cry and thanks them for saving his life and helping him come to terms with his brother's death. He challenges Dante to a friendly rematch. Dante bets if he can't hit all eight balls in the holes on the pool table, he'll race him, but if he can, Vincent would have to buy him dinner.
