Summary:
Stephanie is resentful after Wheels turns down another date with her, and decides to suck up to Joey in order to make him jealous. She makes Joey the sports rep, a position traditionally reserved for grade sevens, and one that Yick was trying to get. This angers the grade seven students, who are already annoyed at how Stephanie failed to deliver on her initial election promises.Wheels tries to convince Joey that she is using him, but Joey thinks he is being jealous, though he later catches on, and when the enraged grade sevens finally confront Stephanie about Joey being sports rep, he declares that he quits. Stephanie retreats into the washroom and cries, thinking of all the times she messed up at school. After school, Stephanie declares to Arthur that she will be different next semester.

- Book Ends: The first season begins with Stephanie and Arthur on their way to school, and ends with them walking home from school.
- Break the Haughty: The mounting backlash from the grade sevens makes Stephanie retreat into the washroom and break down in tears as she looks back on the way she treated people.
