* CurbStompBattle: And man was it brutal. Ken's greatest solo victories coming from fighting incredibly strong pro wrestlers and experienced assassins? Terry took on the '''Roman God Of War''', and beat him. Ken knocking out a bull in one hit, sending a full-sized man flying 15 feet with a single punch while badly injured, and managing to survive a 100-foot fall? Terry's managed to smash steel I-beams with his fists, one-shot a building while standing on top of it and badly injured, and even survive/walk away from the inevitable multi-story fall to the ground after said building collapsed. There is no field in which Ken is even remotely close to Terry.

What has blonde hair, wears red, and fights like hell? Today's fighters, you guessed it.

[[Franchise/StreetFighter Ken Masters, the Street Fighting family man]]. And [[VideoGame/FatalFury Terry Bogard, the orphan turned King of Fighters]].

Season three's tenth episode pits a pair of well-to-do red-clad all-American fighting game legends, and masters of their martial arts crafts, head to head. The hosts will study a single fighting style meant to kill against several practices used in tandem to deadly effect, the channeling of one's inner energy against that drawn from the earth itself, for both Ken Masters and Terry Bogard are experts in their crafts, they now have to throw down against one another to prove themselves the one worthy as victor in a new sort of challenge known as [[TitleDrop a death battle]].

To begin the episode, Wizard and Boomstick study the life of one Ken Masters, son of a wealthy hotel tycoon, who felt his son needed to study the ways of martial arts in order to learn discipline, lest he become spoiled and leech off the family fortune; thus, the father Masters arranged for a close friend, Gouken, to mentor Ken upon his arrival in Japan; where he would be mentored in the Shotokan martial art alongside Gouken's adopted son, Ryu. Upon completing a training that lasted over a decade, Ken returned to America with the intent of proving his time in Japan had taught him discipline and the martial art expertise his father sought from him, claiming victory in several tournaments, one of which being where he met his future wife Eliza. Hoping to make his former master proud, Ken returned to Japan, but found Gouken murdered in his own dojo, courtesy of Gouken's younger brother Akuma; alongside Ryu, the two pupils entered the World Warrior tournaments, in Ken's case, for the thrill of the fight against his good friend and rival.

Thankfully for Ken, his training under Gouken has failed to atrophy in the years since; if anything, his constant picking of fights has helped hone his skills, impressive given how he possesses enough power to uppercut a man fifteen feet into the air, which would prove fatal to most and even survive a 100-foot fall. In addition, his practice in the ways of Ansatsuken has given Ken a series of techniques impossible to most other martial arts, such as the concentrated ball of ki known as the Hadouken; the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, a spinning kick that can evade projectiles; and most importantly, the rising uppercut known as the Shoryuken, which Ken has mastered to such an extent that he has also mastered its ultimate form, the Shinryuken, which engulfs his arm in fire as he throws a spiraling punch and also drags foes in for each consecutive blow.

Ken is at his strongest and his techniques at their most damaging when fueled by his desire to win, moreso when his friends' and allies' lives are at stake, though this determination can be hampered by his own cockiness, laughing off his foes should be gain the upper hand. In addition, the Shotokan fighting style is rooted in the ways of ansatsuken, martial arts meant specifically to kill an opponent; Shotokan as trained by Gouken is a non-lethal variant, meaning its killing potential is bolstered predominantly by Ken's own physique. That said, Ken is no slouch despite this faults; for even through them, he has proven capable of defeating the Shadaloo mastermind M. Bison alongside Ryu, dodged attacks from Akuma, one of the strongest figures in ''Street Fighter'' lore, and has held his own in a cage match against the claw-wielding Spaniard Vega. The last of these conflicts stands out still, given that Ken, after sustaining multiple injuries, was able to uppercut Vega into the ceiling after the latter leapt off it with enough force to redirect his momentum. His training has always served him well, and should he stay true to it, Ken can make good on the memory of both Gouken and the motives to learn the ways of Shotokan.

-->'''[[VideoGame/StreetFighterIV Ken Masters]]:''' (palms a fist twice before assuming a stance) Come on, let's turn up the heat!

From there, the hosts go from Ken to his foe, Terry Bogard, the older of the two Bogard siblings, who eked out a living in the slums of South Town until the pair were adopted by and named after Jeff Bogard. Jeff, a practitioner of the Hakkyokuseiken martial art, was murdered by his former friend, Geese Howard, in revenge for Jeff being chosen to learn the secrets of Hakkyokuseiken; and in turn, Terry and his brother Andy began a journey to travel the world, learning martial arts of their own to avenge their surrogate father's abrupt demise, eventually leading them to the King of Fighters tournament, hosted by Geese himself.

Thanks to both his own training and tracking down Jeff Bogard's master, Terry is an adaptable fighter, well-versed in boxing, karate, kung fu, kickboxing, and some Hakkyokuseiken practices. His expertise in these martial arts means, much like his opponent, Terry has his own collection of abilities to deploy in combat, from his own fiery punch in the form of the Burn Knuckle to the Crack Shoot axe kick. Thanks to aid from Tung Fu Rue, Jeff and Geese's own mentor, Terry can also use the Hakkyoukuseiken to channel energy from the earth itself to augment his attacks to greater degrees.

Terry upholds the legacy of Jeff Bogard long after his passing; he has succeeded in defeating Geese in his own tournament, and, upon failing to truly end his foe, killed him in their second meeting. When one learns what Terry is capable of, it becomes little of a question how; on record, the South Town survivor has smashed six I-beams mid-fall, defeated Jamin, who can catch and reflect gunfire with his bare hands, stood his ground against Mars, the god of war himself, and during his fight with the former, survived no less than two explosions, slamming into a concrete wall, a car being thrown at him and ultimately ended the fight by throwing a Power Geyser which destroyed the factory the fight took place in. Perhaps it is how capable he has proven himself which is the reason why Terry takes poorly to losing. Thankfully for Terry, losing doesn't happen often for him, not as long as he puts his all into battle.

-->'''[[VideoGame/FatalFury Terry Bogard]]:''' (yells before throwing a punch at Laocorn Gaudeamus, currently possessed by Mars' armor) ''Burning Knuckle!''

Now that both characters have had a proper rundown, the time for battle fast approaches. One advertisement for the Blue Apron cooking company later, and now, it's time for a death battle!

A dojo surrounded by a thicket of cherry blossom trees is where Dan Hibiki, originator of the so-called martial art of Saikyo-ryu, faces Ken Masters, trained Shotokan master. With a single punch to the face, Dan has made a fool of himself in front of the spectators watching the ongoing fight, capped off with a quippy remark at Dan's expense. A more formidable challenge arrives on the scene when a figure arrives at the dojo's door, none other than Terry Bogard, user of the Hakkyokuseiken, eager to offer himself to Ken as a sparring alternative, one the hotel heir is willing to accept.

'''FIGHT!'''

Immediately, Terry is caught off-guard as Ken lays into him with a series of punches and kicks that he can barely block, an uppercut giving Ken the opening he needs to follow up with a throw that sends Terry across the dojo. Nimbly sliding out of an overhead jab, the South Town youth twirls about, showboating his escape before the pair get caught up in a set of parried punches until Ken catches Terry off-guard with an underhanded punch to the nether regions, to which Terry calls his foe out on. As Ken taunts his opponent, the orphan decides to live up to his foe's expectations, rushing him with a flurry of punches that culminate in a Burning Knuckle that knocks Ken against one of the dojo's support beams. Two of the beams are destroyed as the Shotokan practitioner evades a midair punch, which he meets with a Hadouken, which only serves to shock the still-present onlookers.

As Terry ducks under a Tastumaki Senpukyaku, the pair get more engaged in their bout, locked in an onslaught of punches connecting against one another with such energy that they crack the windows of the dojo; the small audience flees, sans Dan, who is crushed under a falling beam. Geese Howard's bane regains his advantage in the fight, knocking Ken against the dojo floor with a Crack Shoot, Ken spitting out blood. Terry takes the opportunity to throw a Buster Wolf, but luckily for Gouken's pupil, this puts him right in the range of a Shoryuken to turn the battle's tide back into his favor.

With a moment to catch his breath, Ken readies a Shinku Hadouken, one infused with more ki than his earlier projectile. In turn, Terry gathers energy from the earth with the Hakkyokuseiken, a cyan aura surrounding him. As Ken releases his sphere of energy, Terry lets loose with a Power Geyser, slamming his fist into the dojo floor to release an enourmous wave of energy, one that tears through the Hadouken and seems to barely miss Ken.

Ready for more, Ryu's friend and foe alike takes a stance, which is promptly interrupted by a torrent of energy bursting through the floor, engulfing him whole. Terry shifts himself upright to find Ken, riddled with injuries from the Power Geyser. The Legendary Hungry Wolf takes his chance to wrap the battle up for good, kneeing his foe into the air, where a final Burning Knuckle bursts Ken's head, adjusting the cap atop his own, satisfied at his victory.

'''K.O.!'''

Ken's headless corpse remains laying on the floor, while Terry prepares to exit the dojo after tossing off his cap. Though both combatants have proven themselves triumphant in tournaments after years of training, Ken's selection of foes whom he has bested, whilst impressive, pales in comparison to Terry's history, such as the aforementioned Mars and Jamin, whom also prove him capable of handling his own against opponents whom can react and move at twice the speed of sound. In addition, Terry has much more raw power to his name than Ken has ever been shown to demonstrate; in particular, many of Ken's more prominent victories, such as against M. Bison, were only possible with outside help. Both combatants have been lifelong practitioners of martial arts, but Ken lacked in enough fields to keep victory from him.

-->'''Boomstick:''' Man, when Eliza hears about this, she's gonna feel "Terry-ble."\\
'''Wizard:''' The winner is Terry Bogard!
