…And That Little Girl Was Me: Jill tells Ange how the first Norma to come from royal blood was one Alektra Maria von Loewenherz. As the narration goes on, Jill hides less and less that she and Alektra were one and the same, until Ange pieces it together herself.
Internal Reveal: The audience learns in the first half that Vivian is a DRAGON, but nobody else is the wiser until the second half of the story.
Ironic Echo: At one point during her conversation with Jill, Ange voices that she's rather content with killing DRAGONs and earning money for it. Later, after Ange learns DRAGONs are human creatures, Jill reminds a livid Ange that she did say she was content with killing DRAGONs and earning money for it.
Mirror Reveal: From the moment she awoke as a DRAGON, Vivian went throughout her morning unaware of why she was heavier and taller. It's only once she notices her hand is a DRAGON claw and sees her reflection in a mirror that she realizes she's turned into one.
The Scapegoat: During her 'story', Jill narrates to Ange that Embryo decided to program Mana-using humans to instinctively believe normas are anti-social monsters who were to blame for all problems, ironically ensuring peace by giving the populace something to root against. Jill then voices that whether they like it or not, normas are "born to be hated".
Something Only They Would Say: Ange would've readily killed the DRAGON that somehow managed to sneak its way into Arzenal. But then it starts singing the Endless Song. As Ange recognizes the song, she realizes the DRAGON must be someone she knows, someone who last heard the song: Vivian.
