Craig tries to tote around junk cleared out of his bedroom closet, which helps and hinders a quest to replace a part to get into the tree trunk base.

Tropes:

  • Bag of Holding: Craig uses his purse to carry all his treasures. Deconstructed, as the bag starts becoming too heavy to carry around, and when he finally finds the wheel, he can't get it inside because it's too full.
  • Exploding Closet: Craig's mom nearly gets buried in all of his "treasures" when she opens his closet.
  • It May Help You on Your Quest: Craig finds some of his treasures helpful in his quest. Subverted in the end when he finds that most of it is useless and has to get rid of most of it to save himself. Parodied with the acorns the kid stuck in the tree gave him, which then prove to be useless in stopping the Junk Lord.
  • It's All Junk: Craig has collected a lot of random items that he considers treasure, but is told by his mother to get rid of it. He tries to carry it off in his purse, but when he and the Junk Lord are about to fall down a high ledge, he decides to get rid of most of it to lighten his weight and get to safety.
  • Made of Explodium: The boat Craig and the Junk Lord were in falls down a ledge and explodes, despite being made entirely of wood.
  • Pepper Sneeze: Craig helps a kid with his head stuck in a tree branch by smearing lip balm around his head and then blows pepper at him to make him sneeze his way out.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The 10 Speeds bail on the main trio after being freaked out by the helmets on the spikes at the junkyard’s entrance.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The boy the gang encounters got his head stuck between two tree branches in a similar way how Jonny from Ed, Edd n Eddy does once-in-a-while.
    • The helmets on spikes at the junkyard’s entrance may be a reference to the heads on spikes from Heart of Darkness.
  • Too Dumb to Live: When the chair that lowers people into the base is broken, J.P. suggests just jumping in—which would leave them trapped in a pit in a secluded area.
Craig: How would we get back up?
J.P.: Hey, man, I don't have all the answers!
  • Wants Versus Needs: The episode is about Craig grabbing every "treasure" he sees, to the point his closet is filled with them. Craig's mom tells him about how she has her students look at their belongings and separate what they want from what they need, and encourages Craig to do the same. Craig is ultimately forced to accept that most of his treasures was stuff that he wanted and has to discard them to save himself and the Junk Lord from the crashing boat.
