"Flirting With Time" is the seventh episode of Cougar Town's fourth season.
Jules and Grayson attempting to sell Grayson's house to annoying neighbors leads Jules to tell the story of how she, Bobby, and Travis moved to Gulfhaven and how she became friends with Ellie, diving into her redneck past.
Andy helps Laurie deal with Wade coming home, when she gets worried that their relationship is moving too fast and she might not be ready for it, while Bobby and Travis mock Grayson over not having a "meet-cute" with Jules.

- Chekhov's Gun: During the flashback, Jules says that a man she met told her that wine is great for making friends. Not only does this end up being the kind of wine that the Cul De Sac Crew regularly drinks, but at the end of the episode, it's revealed that it was Grayson who gave her the wine.
