- Bad Humor Truck: Friendly ice-cream van driver Jimmy Platt is Sabrina's second debtor. He's also a Serial Killer preying on children in order to extend his own lifespan.
- Contrived Coincidence: Prudence and Ambrose arrived at the Spellman house alongside a knocked out Faustus, right after Zelda asked Sabrina where she expected to find another body that is strong enough to be a flesh Acheron for the devil himself.
- Deal with the Devil: Sabrina is sent to collect on two of these. The first, she lets go when she decides he doesn't deserve to go to Hell. The second, she drags to Hell without mercy and orders Lilith to get creative with the punishments. He absolutely deserved it.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Zelda laments about the fact that she slapped Agatha. Hilda replies casually, “oh, we’ve all wanted to slap Agatha.”
- Red Right Hand: Lucifer's forked tongue, the one thing he cannot conceal when pretending to be Nick.
- Shout-Out: Blackwood summons a Deep One and reveals he has switched to worshipping eldritch gods, a reference to the Cthulhu Mythos.
