In this brief interlude between adventures, our heroes attend an office party — well, a carnival — at the Bureau of Balance’s lunar headquarters. They also hit up the Fantasy Costco, where they must match wits with their most fearsome mercantile foe yet. Taako makes a discreet trade. Merle tries on some cool-ass slippies. Magnus finally finds a friend.

- Attack of the Town Festival: Naturally, weirdness starts going down in the middle of the Bureau of Balance carnival.
- Clothing Switch: Magnus dresses up as Taako for the carnival.
- Deep-Fried Whatever: Magnus eats deep-fried unicorn horn and dick. Apparently the only thing the food stand can't deep-fry is flatbread.
- Shout-Out: Merle dresses up as Ursula from The Little Mermaid (1989).
