Calvin is doing homework, and gets bored. Jumping into his Stupendous Man costume, he decides to destroy the school so there's no need for him to do the homework assignment.

- Artistic License – Space: Stupendous Man uses the giant telescope lens from the observatory at Mount Palomar to destroy the school. The observatory at Mount Palomar (and all telescopes of that size) doesn't use lenses, but mirrors. Of course, it has to be noted that the whole thing is happening in Calvin's imagination in the first place.
- Complexity Addiction: Stupendous Man even mentions that he could easily just do the homework assignment, since it's three pages of reading and Stupendous Man has high-speed vision as one of his powers, but decides he'd rather destroy the school so there's no need to do the homework at all.
