Creepy Child: In the episode's prologue, a young Ted Hester aka the Silver Ink Killer, is shown drawing pictures of a dead person hanging upside while having a psychiatric session with Dr. Diane Auerbach. Years later, Allie discovers these same drawings and is understandably disturbed.
Oh, Crap!: At the episode's end, Folsom is horrified to learn that the Silver Ink Killer is now targeting the CSIs.
Ouroboros: The CSIs discover this drawn in the Silver Ink Killer's lair, revealing that all of the killings in previous cases were deliberately planned by the Silver Ink Killer to invoke this.
She Knows Too Much: The Silver Ink Killer, Ted Hester, murdered his childhood psychiatrist, Dr. Diane Auerbach, because she was starting to suspect him of being the serial killer.
Wham Episode: The CSIs arrest the Silver Ink Killer, but he reveals that he has a partner who is now targeting them.
