Iggy becomes sick, so he tries to create an antidote for his disease, but it has some rather catastrophic consequences.
Tropes:
- A Day In The Lime Light: This episode focuses on Iggy trying to create a potion that will cure him of his illness. Unfortunately, this ends up turning him into a Piranha Plant-Dinosaur hybrid.
- Asshole Victim: Jurassic Piranha!Iggy murders Junior in cold blood. Given that Junior drank the cough syrup Iggy needed to complete the antidote for his illness and that he is... well, Junior, no one except Bowser sheds any tears for him.
- Big Damn Heroes: Roy survives his wound and saves his family from being eaten by Jurassic Piranha!Iggy. Well, all except Ludwig.
- Create Your Own Villain: Bowser Jr. accidentally causes Iggy to create (well, become) the titular Jurassic Piranha after he drinks Iggy's cough syrup and makes him use Piranha Plant oil as a replacement for the potion that he creates in an attempt to cure his illness.
- Halloween Episode
- Reports of My Death Were Greatly Exaggerated: In spite of being critically wounded by Jurassic Piranha!Iggy, Roy manages to survive and even ends up saving the day.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Junior drinks the cough syrup Iggy was going to use for his antidote just to be an asshole, so this forces him to use Piranha Plant Oil, which when mixed to the potion turns him into a man-eating Piranha Plant. Also, Junior is his first victim.
- Too Dumb to Live:
- When Bowser Jr. first sees the Jurassic Piranha (Actually Iggy), instead of fleeing, he immediately chastises him for eating his food. He gets slashed across the stomach and eaten alive for his troubles. However, since the Halloween episodes are non-canon, none of the events of this episode carry over into the next one.
- Larry drinks the potion that was meant to cure Iggy just to see what it tasted like. Thankfully Roy is able to get a syringe with more of it.
