• Good Old Ways: He has a conversation about this with an old friend while drunk at an event. in response to being chastised by Frank and Garrett for most of the episode (because of his bragging about heavy-handed methods from the old days causing a PR headache), he responds by growling "I still think the old ways are the best ways."
• Jerkass Ball: His usual gentlemanly conduct goes out the window and he acts like a petulant teenager when Frank and Garret chastise him for his drunken remarks approving of police brutality that got leaked online.
• Jerkass to One: Nicky's teacher. Erin initially believes that she's being dramatic. After she apologizes to her publicly in front of her mother, she makes a remark about Erin's apparent inability to teach her. She does it again in front of the entire class next time, and refers to Nicky's grandfather's leaked speech.
• Politically Incorrect Hero: Henry comes across this way as his conversation gets leaked out.
• Shared Family Quirks: Erin states that both Henry and Nicky have the tendency to shoot their mouths off.
• This Is Unforgivable!: Henry invokes this in his conversation with his old friend
  • What causes his speech about the Good Old Ways is the fact that Jamie is being threatened by a man who had killed his girlfriend. He goes on to mention that
• Teacher'sUnfavoriteStudent: Nicky's teacher seems to have this dynamic with Nicky. While she states to her mother that she dislikes her and her family due to anything seemingly affiliated with law enforcement, Erin naturally believes that she's being dramatic. She then picks on Nicky publicly in class, due to Henry's leaked speech, all the while wearing a sickeningly sweet smile while making a remark about people in power abusing power.
• Too Dumb to Live: The guy that killed his girlfriend. He proceeds to harass Jaime. Sets the police car ablaze with Jamie and Janko in the car. And in the end, tried to kidnap Janko. All the while being a highly Smug Snake about it.
