A DNA test leads Nick to uncover a family secret. Jay insists on introducing Matthew to the Bilzerian clan. Andrew puts his lovebug to the test.

- Acquired Poison Immunity: Matthew is unsuccessful in defending himself and Jay from Val and Kurt with pepper spray because the latter two have built up an immunity to it thanks to having been sprayed with it so many times.Val: (while spraying a burger) It's a condiment to us dumbass!

- Call-Back: Maury thinks that Andrew professing his undying love to Bernie is a bad idea because the last time he did that, the girl puked in his mouth. Then Andrew and Maury start talking on how that led to Andrew's porn addiction.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Both Elliot and Diane get very aggressive after Nick brings up that his DNA test revealed that his family is Scottish.
- Panty Thief: Narrowly averted. Flanny is able to convince Andrew to not steal a pair of Diane's panties, but he does take one of her or Elliot's scarves.
- Shout-Out: One of the posters in Nick's room is for a movie titled Spider-Mens.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Jay trapping a few doves in his backpack so that he can release them later in a dramatic moment results in the birds dying.
- Wrong Genre Savvy: Andrew initially thinks that his love bug Flanny O'Lympic is a leprechaun.Andrew: Ohhhkay. How does this work? Do I have to catch you to get your pot of gold?
